The Calgary Real Estate Board predicts sales to increase 17% this year and prices to increase 6.3%, a hopeful sign that we are past the dreaded "R" word and headed into positive territory.
The latest numbers from Canada Mortgage & Housing are also promising, with more single detached starts in November '09 (604) than we have seen since October 2007, a month that saw 680 new home starts.
