Astoria has started to move into Their new show home in preparation of the "Street of Dreams" Show in May.

Along with all of this unseasonal weather we have been having, we have been seeing lots of activity hear in Willow Creek. With thirty to forty groups visiting the community a week and 3 potential new home owners, we couldn't be happier!

With Astorea Custom Homes, and Hyatt Homes show homes being open Monday through Thursday from 2:00-8:00pm and weekends from Noon-5:00pm there is plenty to be seen! Don't forget that Canterra Custom Homes will have its sales centre open here in Willow Creek on the weekends as well!

Willow Creek is about community.  The people around us are those who make us better.

Although not a home owner at Willow Creek, we thought we should let everyone know about some of the people who make Bearspaw a better place.

We would like to recognize the success of one of our neighbours in Bearspaw; Dr. David Chalack.

 

Dr. David Chalack was honoured in Ottawa with the Diamond Jubilee medal.  Please see full article in the Calgary Herald.

For decades, the Bearspaw area economy revolved around the dairy industry.  Dr. Chalack is the owner of the last dairy operation in Bearspaw (Rocky Mountain Holsteins) and has also served as Chairman for the Calgary Stampede. Dr. Chalack is a veterinarian who continues to work in the Agricultural Industry.

Dave also continues to work to make our community at large, a better place.

Congratulations Dr. Chalack!  

Just Another Beautiful Day in Bearspaw!

With all of the beautiful weather we have been having this winter, I thought I would take the opportunity to take a walk around Willow Creak, and how beautiful it was!

I was walking around in Phase 2, which is now available for purchase, and took this photo from the top of lot 58 . It is starting to feel like spring has sprung (knock of wood).

Coming Along Nicely!

The construction of three stunning new show homes are coming along nicely! All three show homes scheduled to open in the beginning of May.

Free Moose with Every Lot!

Okay, so you might have to share the big animal but moose are regular visitors to Willow Creek.

This picture is taken about 20 feet away from the animal on phase 2 of Willow Creek.  The Laratta showhome can be seen in the background.
The open space design has been attracting moose, deer and many more birds have been making Willow Creek home since the waterscapes and vegetation have developed...but the birds have been moving away for the winter.
